各位同事:近日四川省各地遭受到特大的地震和餘震襲擊, 造成了慘重的生命財產損失, 有鑒於災後各項重建需要大量的資金和物資, 郭鶴年先生及旗下的企業籌集了為數總共等值人民幣一億三千多萬的捐款。 此捐款部份是直接送到四川省抗震救災中心, 部份是送到不同的慈善機構。此外, 嘉里郭氏集團也在馬來西亞采購了五千個帳篷并用包機送至四川省抗震救災中心。嘉里集團郭氏基金會亦會為500名四川省的大中學生提供為期七年的助學金。

Dear Colleagues,In order to provide the much needed assistance to the people in Sichuan whose life and properties has been seriously damaged by the recent ultra earthquake, Mr Robert Kuok and his group organizations have raised a total of over RMB130 mil of donation fund. Part of this fund has been sent to Sichuan directly and part of this fund has been sent to some other charity organizations.In addition, Kerry group has purchased 5,000 tents from Malaysia, and these tents have been sent to Sichuan by our chartered flights.Kerry Group Kuok Foundation Ltd will also provide financial support for 500 students in Sichuan for a period of 7 years.
